Happy 8 Months Quinn!

Hey there toquito!

I can't believe you are 8 months old today! You are now standing while assisted by the couch, and just the other day I found you sitting up in your crib when I went in to get you in the AM. Soon I will have to lower the crib! You are doing SO well on your early Potty Training! You frequently wake up dry from your naps and you are going on the potty fairly regularly. I am so proud of you! You also popped your first tooth out over the weekend! It is only half way through, but it is there. You are SO much happier now that it is out. I had forgotten what a happy baby you can be :) You are working on a second bottom one now, but it doesn't seem to be bothering you for now. I think you are going to be a musician...you LOVE any toys dealing with music...your maracas and xylophone are your favorites at the moment.

This weekend we got new bikes and a carrier for you! We went on our first bike ride on Sunday. It was SO much fun and you seemed to enjoy it. Daddy's bike is on order, but we hope it will get here soon so we can all go out together on a bike ride. We even got you a cute little helmet with the three little pigs on it. It is still a little big for your head though and you can't hold your head up with it on!

We also went swimming in your pool again this weekend...it is your favorite pass time. If you are ever grumpy, all I have to do is put you in the pool and you are happy. I will have to get you swim lessons when you turn two! I want you to be able to know how to swim and not be afraid of the water like Mama!

Every day I am amazed by you. I feel SO lucky that I get to be your mama. Becoming a mom is the best and most fulfilling thing that has happened in my life. I love being your Mama...even when it is difficult. It seems like now everything that happened before makes sense...I had to go through the pain of a loss because if not I wouldn't have you in my life. I can't imagine my life without you.
