The Continued Adventures of the Amazing Quinn

Hi Baby!

Not a whole lot had been going on the last few weeks, so sorry for the delay of this letter. You are almost crawling now! It is so exciting to watch you get up on your hands and knees trying to figure out how to move your arms and legs together. You are getting better at it every day. The strength you have amazes me. You can now hold yourself up on your arms and tip toes...it looks like you are doing a downward dog yoga move! You have figured out how to wriggle and scoot your way around, and I am already seeing how many unsafe features are in our house. I better get to baby proofing Stat!

Yesterday we went shopping together for some new items for you. We got you a mesh feeder...which you love and you had a great time feeding yourself yesterday with it. We tried banana and a new food...honeydew! You loved it! I also got the wean machine! It is a dream come true. It makes it so much easier for me to make your homemade baby food. I will be using that all the time now. We also bought you a bowl set, some new bibs, and a few summer tank top rompers that were on clearance. I can't believe you can already wear 9 mos clothes! You are getting SO big.

Your 6 mos check up went well. You barely cried for your shots and you are a whopping 18.5 lbs and 27 1/4 inches long! You are a tall boy and still in the 75th percentile. You have these cute chubby thighs, but your arms are still pretty slim. Your eyes are the most beautiful color blue I have seen since your Great Uncle Micks. Sorry baby, but no ones eyes can beat his! His eyes look like Huskey eyes. I hope you will get to meet your great aunt Grace and great Uncle Mick as well as all your other great aunts someday. Some days your eyes look almost violet. I wonder if and hope that they will stay that color. Your hair is turning more blond by the day. It is almost platinum now. I need to get your haircut when I get mine done next. You are starting to look like a ragga muffin!

Great Grandpa and Great Grandma Catalfu are coming to visit us this week. I can't wait to show you off and all the new things that you can do. You also continue to do well with our potty training efforts. You made mommy late for work today because you decided you had to go #2. It is worth it though to get you on the potty to do it. Mommy does not like cleaning poopy diapers! You still are not saying much. You babble a lot more lately though, which is a good sign. So far you only really say "deet-deet-deet" and AHHH! You also like to blow raspberries A LOT!

I can't wait to get off work today and come home to hold you and give you lots of hugs and kisses! I just LOVE being your Mama!

Until next time Baby!
Love Forever,

~Mama~
