I apologize for the delay, but now that I am back at work, I ironically have more time to update my blog! Mighty Quinn is growing like a weed and we had his 2 month apt last week. He is already 12lbs 13.5 oz and 24 inches long with a 15.5 inch head! He is going to be our big boy! We are all adjusting to the new schedule with both Erik and I back to work full time. Quinn seems to be doing well at Gloria's, and we have hopes that he will be bilingual! Gloria only speaks Spanish so Quinn hears Spanish all day and English all night.
I am still breast feeding and plan to do it for a year unless I dry up. I have been having issues with my milk production since going back to work, but we are trying a few new ideas out in hopes to keep up my milk supply. I pump at work and am now trying to breast feed at home with only giving him one formula bottle before he first goes down for the night. The cloth diapers are working out better than I had hoped and I don't find it difficult to keep up with the laundry if I wash them every other day.
I am amazed every day at Quinn and he is getting more personality every day. He is now smiling which is awesome, and gone is the vacant look from his eyes! I am excited to watch him grow and can't wait til he is sitting, and babbling! This year is going to bring so many changes for him and for us and I can't wait! I just wish I didn't have to work so I could be home to fully take him in every day. Mommy loves you Quinn!
It's great to see you adjusting so well Niki! I hope you can keep nursing as long ad you'd like- I had problems when I went back to work too, so it's pretty common. Just hang in there as long as you can and know that you have already given your little man so much! He's ADORABLE!
