And We Have a Giggle!

Every day I am just amazed at Quinn's growth and development. It seems he changes every couple days learning something new. This weekend we heard his first real giggle! It was SO cute. I cannot wait until he is doing it more frequently. Also, just this week he has started to make all kinds of squeals and sounds. It is so neat to hear him and I know it is his way of talking to us! He is starting to sleep better, and even let me sleep for 5 hours in a row last night! It is hard going to work knowing that I am missing out on all kinds of moments with him, but now when I come home he always smiles at me and that makes it all worth it! It feels so nice to know that he actually knows his mommy and is happy to see me. I am looking forward to him being able to sit up on his own and to when he starts playing with toys. He has recently started grabbing objects, but mostly by accident. I don't think he fully understands the concept yet, but it is coming soon. For now I read to him, sing to him all the time and just talk about everything and anything around him. I know he gets spoken in Spanish to all day, and I make sure he hears English all night. With any luck he will be bilingual! I am just love him SO much and am always looking forward to any time I get to spend with him. I am loving motherhood!
