OK, so I finally got myself looking decent enough to warrant a belly pic for you all. Here I am at 13w1d last Friday before Erik and I went to have dinner with Eriks coworkers at Texas Roadhouse. I can now say I am not a fan of icky steakhouses, and all those who swear by Texas Roadhouse, I truly don't know what you see in it. The food was just what you would expect from any steakhouse fare, and not good. Blah. Anyway, I thought I would finally appease some of you with a first belly pic. I am barely starting to show, and feel that most of the time now a days I just look chubby rather than pregnant, so it is kinda sad! I am losing my shape, but don't look pregnant yet! I am fine with that though as I am hoping to be a small pregnant girl and be mostly belly by the time it is all said and done. Guess I will have to wait and find out. To date, I am feeling much better, have gained about 4 lbs and am now officially in the second trimester! Woo! I have a 14 week apt on Thursday, the day after we get back from our Colorado trip. We should get to hear the heart beat via doppler for the first time in a few days. I am even more excited about getting the sex ultrasound done! I am crossing my fingers that they will schedule it at this next apt. I am still hoping for a girl, but as of late I have had feelings it may be a boy...just cause I want a girl so my parents can have one of each since my sister just had her baby boy on May 26th!
