Hi Quinn,
Mama here again. We have been having quite the fun around here for the fall season. I can't believe it is already November 2nd. Time goes SO quickly. I can't believe in another month it will be time for your 3rd birthday! Wow! A couple weeks ago we went back to the Parkhurst Pumpkin Patch that we took you to last year. You enjoyed it again this year. You got to pet goats, cows, sheep, turkeys, pigs and rabbits at the petting zoo area, swing on the hammock swings, go on a hayride, play and slide in a hay play-fort, and your favorite-play on an old green tractor. You were so cute and wanted to keep getting on the tractor and pretend that you were driving it. We got a photo of you on it last year and this year too. I am going to have to post a side-by-side on here so you can see how much you have grown in one year. Afterwards we ate at Pops, just like last year. It has become our little tradition and I image it will be until we leave Oklahoma in a few years.
We also had fun last weekend taking you on the Halloween Train at the OKC Railway Museum. You got to wear your rodeo clown costume (that you requested yourself) and I wore my witch hat. Daddy was a party-pooper and did not dress up. You liked the train ride at first, but then soon got bored. The ride was slow and you would have rather been looking at the trains instead of riding in one! Unfortunately the ride ended with you throwing a fit because you did not want to leave and then we had to drive the whole way to the Megan's to get your hair done with you screaming. That part was not so fun.
For some reason you really have been testing me and pushing me lately. You have had a hard time listening and you have been hitting and being mean lately which is not like you. This attitude change has come pretty much in sinc with daddy starting his new job, so I think maybe it is because between daddy's new job and me having to go to school at night you are lonely and missing us. That makes me sad, but it won't last forever and we will be better off once it is done. I just hope that soon that this meanie Quinn goes away and my sweet good boy comes back. I hate having to constantly fight and discipline you on the very few and precious times we get to spend together. It is not fun at all for you or for us. In any case, I still love you, I am just not loving your behavior lately. Hopefully this weekend will bring a Quinn who is in better spirits!
You also got to go trick or treating for the first time this year on Wednesday. I was so sad that I had to miss it because of class. Daddy took you around with Debbie and Dane and you had a blast. I guess you were shy to say Trick-or-Treat, but you still did it and then would rush to the next house. I sure wish I could have been there, but I am glad I have pictures of it. Daddy made sure he got some good pictures so I could see how much fun you had.
Another Friday is here and I am looking forward to getting off work today so I can spend some time with you. I love you!
Love,
Mama
