Waving, standing and speaking Spanish!

Hello There Quinn,

Mama here again. This past week has been a time of enormous growth for you. You started waving "hi" and boy is it cute! You swirl your arm in a circle and make this garbled sound. We are not sure what you are tyring to say, but it is precious! Gloria also tells us that you have been trying to say "Aqua" Spanish for Water! What a smart boy. She is very excited about your first Spanish word and so are mommy and daddy.

If that were not enough, I also went in to get you from a nap yesterday and you were standing in your crib all on your own! I know walking will be just around the corner. I can't believe you are already almost a year old. I am already trying to come up with cute ideas for your first birthday party.

We also started night weaning you this weekend. It is sad to know that our days of nursing are coming to an end. It is nice that you are able to sleep through the night and usually put yourself back to sleep. You have been in a great mood lately and I have been enjoying reading, tickling, and snuggling you! Coming home to pick you up after work is the best part of the day!
