Labor Day Weekend

We had a nice long weekend the past few days and we got to spend some time with some of our friends, Phil and Kelly and their daughter Payton. We took them down to the Paseo Arts district for first Friday, and it was also our first time at first Friday in the Paseo. We ate at a cafe called Sauced, but it wasn't very good. Pizza was too thin and greasy! Then we walked around and visited some art shops, galleries etc and enjoyed people watching. Payton got her face painted, and I also found another couple who were into vintage and the bygone 40s/50s era and snapped a great shot of a vintage ride on. I now have been searching for one for myself, but so far no luck...Maybe Dad can help me look for one ;) What do you say Dad? Up for looking at the flea markets and antique stores up in PA for me?!?! Anyway, one of the pictures featured here is a painting I would have loved for Quinn's room, but it was way too $$$...it was $300! Oh, and we also tried out an oxygen bar for the first time...don't worry, we are not in the hospital or something, though it can look that way I guess! I have been feeling kinda slow lately and have had to start taking breaks a lot more frequently. I have hit the 6 month mark, so I guess that is to be expected, but I don't like it! I hate having to slow down. I can't walk or stand for long periods of time anymore. I have also noticed that I have started producing colostrum the other day... that is the precursor liquid to breast milk. It was really neat to see that and I am still in awe at how much our bodies can change to bring another life into this world. Erik's Mom is doing great but has had to get a traech back in. Erik's office is finally finished with electric and insulation, so he is now in the process of moving in! After that we can start Quinn's room!
